Before going to see Dr. Pavlenko I was what you would call a grinder. This resulted in me losing the height of my jaw due to the wearing of my teeth, which was occurring over time. From this, I experienced severe “quivering” of my jaw and face, which in turn, resulted in sleepless nights. Through reconstruction with neuromuscular dentistry performed by Dr. Pavlenko, he was able to restore the lost height of my teeth and jaw. Since the treatment was completed I feel great, I no longer have the quivering jaw and I am able to sleep soundly through the night. As a teenager I was very self-conscious of my teeth. Upon looking back at photos taken, I have noticed that I never smiled showing my teeth! Upon attending NAIT (dental assisting), I became even more aware of the condition of my teeth and wanted desperately to have the smile that so many of my classmates had.
