As a teenager I was very self-conscious of my teeth. Upon looking back at photos taken, I have noticed that I never smiled showing my teeth! Upon attending NAIT (dental assisting), I became even more aware of the condition of my teeth and wanted desperately to have the smile that so many of my classmates had. I had crowns on my front teeth that were redone a number of times. These crowns were porcelain fused to metal and over time the tissue receded, exposing a “black line” at the gum line. Dr. Pavlenko has since restored my eight front teeth with cosmetic restorations and I feel as if these are my natural teeth. Now I am able to eat corn on the cob and bite into an apple; this is something I could not do before. I am continuously complimented on my beautiful smile and when I tell people that I have eight cosmetic restorations, they are shocked as they think this is my natural smile! When photos are taken I now smile showing my teeth confidently. Being a part of Dr. Pavlenko’s cosmetic team, when our guests enter our office and voice their concerns, I tell them that I truly know how they feel! I am honored to work with Dr. Pavlenko and be part of a team that can truly perform “life changing” results.
